A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Rachael.

I’m passionate about sharing the healing power of yoga and meditation because I’ve experienced it firsthand. My journey has been deeply personal, and it’s what fuels my commitment to helping you find peace, strength, and recovery within yourself.

As both a yoga instructor and a licensed Occupational Therapist, I bring a unique understanding of the body-mind connection to my teaching. I integrate movement, breath, and mindfulness as powerful tools for healing, offering classes that support your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

But my path to yoga wasn’t linear. Like many, I’ve faced anxiety, depression, C-PTSD, disordered eating, and alcohol over-use. For years, I sought relief through traditional therapy and medication, yet something was missing. It wasn’t until I discovered somatic practices—specifically through yoga teacher training—that I began to truly understand the profound connection between my body and mind. Yoga became more than movement; it became a pathway to self-discovery and healing.

Because of my own experiences, I deeply understand the challenges of feeling lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your body. That’s why I’ve created a safe, supportive space where you can explore yoga and meditation as tools for healing and transformation.

My Teaching Approach

My classes and meditations are designed to support your healing, self-discovery, and empowerment through mindful movement and breath. I integrate a holistic approach that focuses on:

Healing & Recovery – Soothing the nervous system, releasing tension, and cultivating self-compassion through intentional practices.

Somatic Awareness – Learning to listen to your body’s wisdom, recognizing its signals, and understanding its unique needs.

Mind-Body Connection – Bridging the gap between physical and emotional well-being, acknowledging how deeply they influence one another.

Empowerment – Equipping you with practical tools to navigate your healing journey, helping you cultivate balance, strength, and fulfillment in your life.
